We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Track and Trace Specialist to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing the movement of full truckload shipments, ensuring on-time delivery, accurate tracking, and seamless communication between carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders. This role plays a critical part in maintaining customer satisfaction and operational efficiency in the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Shipment Tracking & Monitoring:
Track and monitor full truckload shipments from origin to destination using transportation management systems (TMS) and carrier portals.
Provide real-time updates on shipment status, estimated time of arrival (ETA), and potential delays.
Communication:
Serve as the main point of contact for carriers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure seamless coordination.
Notify Account Managers and/or customers of any changes to delivery schedules, delays, or incidents.
Issue Resolution:
Proactively identify and address issues such as transit delays, route deviations, or accidents.
Work closely with carriers and operations teams to resolve problems promptly and minimize service disruptions.
Data Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipment details, including load status, delivery confirmations, and exceptions.
Use analytics to identify trends in carrier performance and transit times.
Carrier Relations:
Build and maintain positive relationships with carriers and drivers to ensure reliable service.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or freight brokerage (full truckload experience preferred).
Familiarity with TMS platforms, carrier portals, and freight tracking tools.
Skills:
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software.
